Yoakum County Golf Course: Yoakum County offers an oasis of the west in its 18 hole golf course. The course is always well maintained and rivals that of bigger cities. Carts are available for rental and course fees are reasonably priced.Denver City Heritage Museum: For history buffs, the Denver City Museum offers a plethora of cultural and civic history dating back to the founding of Denver City and the first discovery of oil in Yoakum County. Museum hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 1-4. Private tours available.
West Texas Lifestyle & Rehab: For those with fitness in mind, WTLR offers state of the art equipment, racquetball courts, a swimming pool and trainers on staff.

Yoakum County Watermelon Roundup: Slated the Saturday before Labor Day every year, the Watermelon Roundup draws crowds from afar. Enjoy free, sweet watermelon, two stages of area bands, arts & crafts booths, car show, kid's activities and great fair food.
